NYC Transgender Possible Robbery-Murder
 Transgender woman, Amana (Edelbuerto) Gonzalez-Andujar, 29, was found dead in her ransacked Queens apartment on Tuesday. Police found her body sprawled across her bed. The NY Daily News reports that her friends, concerned that she hadn’t been seen since Friday, got her landlord to let them into her apartment on Tuesday."We found her on her bed. She was naked," said friend Barbara Vega. "Everything in the apartment was destroyed. All her Marilyn Monroe pictures were destroyed."
Barbara reported that Amanda’s laptop was missing from her apartment. Another resident of the apartment said that the police told her that they were analyzing a surveillance video from the apartment building which contains an image of a man whose face was difficult to make out.
Police report that the medical examiner will perform an autopsy on her body to determine the cause of death. Barbara believes that her friend was murdered and wants answers.
"She never had any problems with anybody. She was full of life," she said. "We need to know who did this to her."
